Several Scandinavian musical acts have announced upcoming studio albums and new singles.

Norwegian progressive black metal band Enslaved announced their album ‘Mið’, scheduled for release on October 30 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band released a new single and music video titled ‘Solar Will’, which guitarist Ivar Bjørnson described as a celebration of the sun’s dual nature. Vocalist Grutle Kjellson noted the track explores archetypal conflicts in nature, the cosmos, and Norse mythology.

Additionally, Norwegian melodic black metal band ISKALD released a teaser for their sixth album, ‘Curse of the Mind’, set for release on September 25. Meanwhile, the rock band Europe unveiled the single ‘Scandinavian Eyes’ from their forthcoming album ‘Come This Madness’, also scheduled for release on September 25.
