German folk-rock band Schandmaul is undergoing a significant transition with the upcoming release of their twelfth studio album, ‘Sternensegler’. A key development in this period is the change in lead vocals, as Till Herence has officially taken over the role from founding member Thomas Lindner. Lindner continues to contribute to the group as an instrumentalist on keyboards, acoustic guitar, and accordion.

To promote the new album, the band released the music video for the single ‘Nosferatu’, which draws inspiration from Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’. This was followed by the release of ‘Zwei Raben’, an epic folk-rock ballad featuring a duet between Herence and guest vocalist Laura Fella from the band Faun. This track is a reimagining of a song originally released in 2011.
