Scheduled power outages and electrical maintenance works are planned across several regions in Romania during August 2026.

In early August, Complexul Energetic Oltenia announced electricity supply interruptions for households and businesses in various localities within Argeș County. These outages, scheduled between 3 August and 9 August, are intended for preventive and corrective works to improve safety and power quality.

Following this, Distribuție Oltenia and Rețele Electrice Muntenia announced further interruptions. Between 17 August and 20 August, outages will affect residential and commercial areas in Pitești. Additionally, from 17 August to 23 August, modernization and repair works will cause power interruptions in Bucharest (Sectors 1, 2, and 3), Ilfov, and Giurgiu.
