Rangers FC is evaluating the potential sale of winger Ross McCausland during the January transfer window. The club aims to avoid losing the Northern Ireland international as a free agent when his contract expires in summer 2027. McCausland has seen limited playing time under manager Derek McInnes due to increased competition in wide positions.

Separately, Celtic manager Martin O’Neill may consider allowing midfielder Luke McCowan to depart in January if a replacement is secured. The club is also reportedly prepared to facilitate the departure of defender Anthony Ralston during the same window if interest arises, as the player seeks regular football following limited minutes this season.
