Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has addressed the mental and personal pressures associated with his coaching career. McVay described himself as ‘tormented’ by the profession, noting that his self-worth had become heavily tied to game outcomes and championship success.

He previously considered transitioning into broadcasting to escape these pressures. Recent reports suggest this interest may have professional traction, as Amazon Prime Video has reportedly included contract flexibility for analyst Kirk Herbstreit to allow for the potential hiring of McVay should he become available.

Amidst these discussions, McVay has faced recent on-field scrutiny following a 30-26 loss to the Denver Broncos, where analysts questioned his positioning on the sideline during live play. McVay did not attribute the loss to officiating.
