In the Chilean Antarctic Province, the Chilean Navy concluded a nine-day search for the crew of the motorboat Talymar. Following 216 hours of continuous maritime, aerial, and submarine tracking involving over 100 personnel, authorities ended the active phase after the vessel lost communication near the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Difficult weather and complex geography had impacted the operation.

In other incidents, authorities responded to emergencies in Isla Tabón and Bahía de Concepción.
