Portuguese authorities have intensified search operations for Julian Amaral, a British national who disappeared in the early hours of a Wednesday after attending a boat party on the Tagus River. While initial reports suggested there were no credible indications he had fallen into the water, suspicions have since increased.

As of Friday, the Portuguese Navy and the Maritime Police have reinforced searches in the Rocha de Conde de Óbidos area near Lisbon. The National Maritime Authority’s Forensic Diving Team has been deployed to assist in the investigation led by the PSP.
