Ice skating rinks in several Polish cities are preparing for the 2026/2027 winter season with various operational updates.

In Lublin, the Icemania rink managed by MOSiR Bystrzyca is scheduled to open on October 3, with plans to extend the season until the end of April. To manage crowds following a previous season that drew over 25,000 visitors, the outdoor rink at Plac Litewski will implement a timed skating system of 45-minute sessions and introduce a second, smaller ice surface for beginners when it opens on December 4.

In Świdnica, the ŚOSiR ice rink is preparing for an autumn opening and will implement a new price list for tickets, passes, and rentals. Meanwhile, in Szczecin, the Hit2Fit rink is set to reopen on October 30 with an expanded layout consisting of a 900 m² indoor rink and a 250 m² covered outdoor area designed for children and beginners.
