In early September, the Lorca Local Security Board initiated an integrated security and emergency planning measure for the Feria Chica festivities. This coordination effort involved the National Police, Civil Guard, Local Police, and emergency services like the Red Cross to manage a large-scale operation involving approximately 1,500 services.

Following the implementation of these protocols, police reports from later in the month indicated the deployment of special security operations to maintain public coexistence. While the initial phases proceeded without major incidents, authorities recorded various enforcement actions, including the expulsion of individuals for uncivil behavior, arrests for driving under the influence, and multiple proceedings for narcotics possession, public urination, and violations of municipal coexistence ordinances.
