In early August 2026 Serbia’s main hub, Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport, announced a record summer schedule that will serve 118 destinations, adding long‑haul service to Toronto and eight new routes across Europe and the Caucasus. The airport also began upgrades to improve passenger processing and terminal flow.

Two days later, Air Serbia reported that its network had grown to over 100 destinations with ten new direct routes, carrying more than two million passengers in the first half of the year. The carrier disclosed plans to add an Airbus A320 and an Embraer aircraft to its fleet and highlighted strong financial performance in 2025, aiming to become the leading regional airline in the Balkans while increasing female representation in senior roles.
