The Serbian Athletics Federation (SAS) announced a change in its technical management. Željko Obradović has been appointed head coach for all national representative categories of Serbia.

Edin Zuković, who had served as head coach since September 2018, will transition to the role of sports director. Obradović, who had been performing head coach duties during Zuković’s recent absence, will now be responsible for coordinating technical work, collaborating with coaches and clubs, and selecting athletes for competitions. The leadership team stated that the primary focus will be supporting athletes for major events, including the European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
