Serbia has implemented various scholarship initiatives to support student education. Initially, the ‘Serbia for Serbs from the Region’ program focused on providing financial aid and dormitory accommodation to regional students, including many from Croatia, to foster unity and community strength.

Expanding its educational support, the Serbian Fund for Young Talents, under the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, announced a new competition for the 2026/2027 academic year. This program targets up to 300 students pursuing advanced degrees at top-ranked global universities listed in the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
