In the Serbian SuperLiga, FK Vojvodina prepared for a match against Zemun, with coach Marko Savić warning that Zemun’s league position did not reflect their true quality.

Following a period of poor performance, Zemun subsequently appointed Macedonian coach Đorđi Mojsov as their new head coach. The club sought to stabilize the team after a difficult start to the season that left them at the bottom of the table with only one point and seven consecutive losses.
