SEVENTEEN member Hoshi suffered a complete tear of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee while practicing with the Army Taekwondo Demonstration Team during his mandatory military service. 

Following the diagnosis, Hoshi underwent successful surgery on September 18, 2026. Due to the injury, he is unable to participate in scheduled military-related activities, including the Ground Forces Festival 2026. He is currently beginning a rehabilitation process and is expected to be discharged from military service on March 15, 2027.
