Sevilla FC has demonstrated strong performance in away matches during the early stages of the current LaLiga season. Under manager Luis García Plaza, the team became the second-best visiting side in the league, remaining undefeated in its first three away fixtures at Nuevo San Mamés, RCDE Stadium, and Riazor.

Following this period, the club underwent a tactical and emotional shift, moving from the lower reaches of the table toward competing for European qualification. Defender Juan Iglesias has emerged as a central figure, providing tactical leadership and serving as a link between the coaching staff and the players.

Building on this momentum, the team currently sits near the top third of the league, within three points of the Champions League zone. The squad has maintained a consistent scoring record and has faced minimal injury issues, aside from a shoulder dislocation suffered by Miguel Sierra.

Despite this sporting success, the club is preparing for potential roster changes in January. Manager Luis García Plaza has identified several players who do not fit into his long-term plans, including Fabio Cardoso, Marcao, Gerard ‘Peque’ Fernández, and Manu Bueno. Specifically, Cardoso and Marcao have not met performance expectations. Additionally, the club is considering a loan move for ‘Peque’ to ensure playing time, a potential sale of Rubén Vargas for approximately seven million euros, and the departure of Julio Díaz.
