A 22-year-old school organization agent in Marília, São Paulo, has been dismissed and is under investigation following the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old student at a state school.

The incident reportedly took place on August 12, when the suspect allegedly lured the student to a lost-and-found room to hug and kiss her. Police reports indicate the suspect had previously engaged in social media conversations with the girl and allegedly threatened her to maintain silence. 

The Marília Women’s Defense Police Station has opened an inquiry into the case, treating it as rape of a vulnerable person. Investigators are reviewing school security footage and message logs. The São Paulo State Education Secretariat confirmed the employee’s dismissal and noted that the Tutelary Council was notified. The school is providing psychological support to the student through the Conviva SP program and the ‘Psychologists in Schools’ initiative.
