The dismembered remains of Alwin Prakash Kunder, an Indian national who worked at Sharjah Airport, were discovered in the boot of a car on a road leading toward Oman. Kunder had been missing since approximately July 20, and his remains were found packed into two bags. 

Initial reports suggested that Kunder’s wife and teenage son were missing and untraceable. However, Sharjah Police later clarified that the family members were not missing, but had instead left the UAE to return to their hometown in India. 

Following DNA confirmation, Kunder’s remains were returned to his hometown in India. Local representatives have pledged to assist the family in seeking justice and identifying the accused.
