Police in Germany have investigated several shoplifting incidents involving various methods and levels of confrontation.

In Sankt Augustin, authorities sought a man and a woman suspected of using a stroller containing an oversized child to conceal stolen food and clothing valued at approximately 300 euros. The suspects reportedly bypassed exit barriers at an Aldi Süd supermarket.

In other regions, shoplifting incidents escalated into physical altercations. In Bad Säckingen, a 19-year-old man was apprehended after allegedly striking others while attempting to flee a shop. In Kempten, police arrested four men—three Polish nationals and one Georgian national—following a theft at a consumer market. While some suspects were released after providing security deposits, one 22-year-old man was placed in pre-trial detention due to flight risk and allegations of attacking police officers.
