During the Shravani Mela, devotees have been drawing attention through the use of elaborate and massive ‘Kanwars’ (devotional structures) during their pilgrimages.

In Munger, groups from Kolkata have been observed transporting large idols of Lord Shiva, including one weighing 250 kg. Additionally, a group from Madhya Pradesh participated with a 51-foot-long Kanwar featuring replicas of the 12 Jyotirlingas. 

In Kasganj, a procession from Firozabad featured a Kanwar designed as Lord Hanuman’s tail, measuring between 131 and 251 meters in length. Participants dressed in religious roles, including Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Jamvant, to carry the structure containing holy Ganga water toward Firozabad.
