The Sicilian Region has introduced a voucher program to assist graduates in pursuing first or second-level university master’s degrees in Italy or abroad. Funded by 12 million euros from the PR Sicilia FSE+ 2021-2027 program, the non-repayable grants are distributed over three years.

Funding levels are tiered based on the program type: 7,000 euros for first-level master’s, 20,000 euros for one-year second-level master’s, and 30,000 euros for second-level master’s programs lasting 18 months or longer. The first application window for eligible residents opens on October 19, 2026, and closes on November 18, 2026.

In addition to the educational vouchers, the region maintains other economic support initiatives, such as the ‘Carta Dedicata a te’, which provides 500 euros to approximately 190,000 beneficiaries, and the ISCRO bonus, which serves approximately 38,000 potential beneficiaries.
