In late September 2026, basketball clubs in Siena, Italy, announced their rosters and organizational structures for the 2026-2027 season.

Virtus Siena reported a significant downsizing of its operations, specifically within its men’s first team competing in the Serie B Interregionale, due to the lack of a main sponsor. The club’s men’s roster has an average age of 19. To manage this transition, Virtus Siena established collaborations with Mens Sana, Basket Asciano, and Fides Costone.

Costone Siena Fides 1904 also presented its upcoming season, which includes 16 teams ranging from youth sectors to senior divisions, such as the Women’s Serie B and Men’s DR2. The club, which has over 400 members, noted that many of its teams were formed through local synergies with clubs including Virtus Siena and Asciano to bolster competitive strength. The Women’s Serie B team is set to begin its campaign on October 4.
