The Silverlake Conservatory of Music (SCM) announced a public benefit concert at the Hollywood Palladium to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The event was designed to raise $1.5 million to sustain music programming and scholarship support for students in Los Angeles.

On October 17, the concert took place featuring a lineup that included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Grohl, and Vince Staples. During the performance, the Red Hot Chili Peppers played rare tracks such as ‘Organic Anti-Beat Box Band’ and ‘Blackeyed Blonde’ for the first time since 2000. The event also featured student ensembles and a birthday celebration for SCM co-founder Flea.
