Sinaloa Governor Graciela Domínguez Nava has implemented several programs aimed at strengthening the regional economy and security. In Los Mochis, the Governor met with business leaders and military, National Guard, and naval officials to discuss the necessity of inter-institutional cooperation for maintaining security during economic activities. During this visit, the Governor and Ahome Mayor Antonio Menéndez de Llano Bermúdez distributed productive equipment to 173 entrepreneurs through the Equipa Sinaloa program.

Following this, the Governor launched the “Nuestro Tianguis” program in Culiacán. This initiative, which functions as a component of the broader Equipa Sinaloa project, provided 1,050 equipment packages, such as tents and tables, to 350 street market vendors to promote self-employment and regional development. The program involved an investment of over 736,000 pesos, with 284 of the recipients being women.

Expanding her security and social efforts, the Governor led a Peace Day initiative in the Lomas del Ébano neighborhood of Mazatlán. This event included a voluntary disarmament campaign, allowing citizens to anonymously surrender firearms or ammunition in exchange for financial compensation.

More recently, Governor Domínguez Nava announced several administrative appointments, including Alejandro Castro Osuna as subsecretary of Tourism Promotion and Operation, and Adán Camacho Gámez as director of Democratic Governability. In Culiacán, she led a Peace and Against Addiction Day initiative focused on youth drug prevention and school safety, aligning with federal strategies. Additionally, the state government reaffirmed support for rural landowners during the annual assembly of the Federation of Rural Owners of Sinaloa, where Sergio Alberto Zambada Gómez was re-elected for the 2026-2029 term.
