Yokogawa Electric Corporation has joined the Sustainable Tropical Data Centre Testbed 2.0 (STDCT 2.0) consortium in Singapore. Hosted by the National University of Singapore, the research programme aims to develop efficient AI infrastructure designed for tropical environments, specifically addressing power, water, and space constraints on Jurong Island.

In this initiative, Yokogawa will apply its industrial automation and autonomous operations capabilities to improve energy optimization and asset reliability within next-generation data center environments.
