The City of Skopje initiated the reconstruction of a monument in ‘Zhena-Borec’ park dedicated to refugee children from Aegean Macedonia. The memorial had previously suffered from vandalism and lacked a plaque or proper markings for several years.

Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski stated the restoration aims to honor the history of these children and preserve historical heritage. The project, which included a broader revitalization of the park through landscaping and infrastructure repairs, was completed shortly after its commencement.
