Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski has initiated several municipal actions addressing urban order and animal welfare. 

Authorities have launched a crackdown on illegal street vendors to restore order to markets and pedestrian paths. These operations, involving multiple agencies including the State Inspectorate and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have resulted in the removal of stalls and the confiscation of approximately 500 kilograms of food products near Bit Pazar. The Mayor stated that vendors must use designated official market spaces rather than sidewalks or boulevards.

In a separate matter, the Mayor called for urgent systemic action regarding animal welfare following the discovery of a mare and foal on a city street. While ZOO Skopje teams rescued the animals, Gjorgjievski urged the Food and Veterinary Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture to coordinate a response to prevent animal exploitation and neglect.
