Sources: 20. Developments: 5. Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators announced their fifth studio album, ‘Flying Blind’, which is scheduled for release on February 26, 2027, through Gibson Records. The 12-track album was recorded primarily live at Studio Barbarosa in Florida with producer Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette to capture a “raw and spontaneous rock ‘n’ roll energy”. Slash has described the project as a ‘fun and spontaneous rock 'n' roll record, simple and raw’. The announcement follows the release of the title single, ‘Flying Blind’, which features a music video filmed at The Viper Room in Los Angeles. To support the release, the band planned a major world tour starting in April 2027. The ‘Flying Blind World Tour 2027’ includes legs in Latin America, North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Specific tour details include appearances at various music festivals, such as the Hills Of Rock festival in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, scheduled for July 23 to 25, 2027. Other planned stops include a performance at the Šalata venue in Zagreb, Croatia, marking the band’s return to the city after 12 years. Ticket sales for the Zagreb concert have now commenced. Following the initial announcement, the Loudwire Nights radio show launched a listener poll to determine the best musical project involving vocalist Myles Kennedy, pitting his work with Alter Bridge against his collaboration with Slash. Slash has since shared that much of the new material originated from spontaneous jams during pre-production sessions at his studio with Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz. He described the creative process as enjoyable and efficient, noting that most songs came together quickly. Additionally, Slash mentioned upcoming ‘Aerosmith + Friends’ shows. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-23: Slash discusses new album Flying Blind and Aerosmith tribute Slash discusses the creation of his upcoming album ‘Flying Blind’ with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, noting much of the music stemmed from spontaneous pre-production jams. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/slash-discusses-new-album-flying-blind-and-aerosmith-tribute ### 2026-10-16: Slash ft.
