Slovak authorities have conducted several law enforcement operations targeting various forms of organized crime.

In the Partizánske district, police charged two parents with human trafficking, endangering the moral development of youth, and the distribution of child pornography. Investigators allege the suspects used an online platform to offer their minor daughter for sexual services and distributed videos involving unidentified female minors for financial gain.

In the Košice region, authorities executed two separate operations. Operation ‘Pešiak’ resulted in the arrest of suspects involved in an illegal migration ring. Following an interception of five Ukrainian nationals in Kolbasov on October 1, a second suspect was arrested for allegedly guiding migrants through forests. Both suspects have been remanded in custody.

Operation ‘Spoločnosť’ targeted narcotics production and sale in Košice. Police arrested three individuals and charged four men, aged 34 to 44, with the illegal production and sale of narcotics. One suspect is accused of distributing methamphetamine on an especially large scale, a crime carrying a potential sentence of ten to 25 years or life imprisonment. Authorities seized methamphetamine, marijuana, €100,000 in cash, investment gold, and two vehicles.

In a coordinated international effort involving Europol and the European Labour Authority, Slovak police inspected 37 companies and 323 individuals to identify human trafficking. While the global operation identified 248 potential victims, Slovak officers did not identify any victims during their local checks.

Additionally, through operation ‘Obchodník 2’, police dismantled an international weapons smuggling gang. The group allegedly used licensed companies to purchase 835 firearms, accessories, and ammunition in Slovakia to redirect them to organized crime networks in the United Kingdom, Poland, and Spain.
