Initially, the production company, Stockwell Entretenimiento, stated the event was proceeding as planned despite the recent detention of producer Don Stockwell. Stockwell was held by the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) as part of the ‘Exodus case,’ an investigation into an alleged criminal organization suspected of using mass entertainment events to launder money. Following these legal developments, the production company announced a reversal, stating they reached a mutual agreement with the artist to cancel the performance. The cancellation follows ongoing operations by the OIJ regarding the ‘Éxodo’ case, which involves allegations of money laundering related to narcotics trafficking.
