SNTE Section 26 has implemented leadership rotations across six municipalities in the Altiplano region of San Luis Potosí. Seven regional coordinators were appointed for Matehuala, Villa de Guadalupe, Villa de La Paz, Catorce, Cedral, and Vanegas. 

According to coordinator Enrique López García, these changes follow instructions from General Secretary Juan Carlos Bárcenas Ramírez to strengthen union management and address teacher needs more effectively through the end of the 2026 term.
