The city of São Gonçalo is implementing various infrastructure and revitalization projects through municipal and state partnerships. 

An initial R$ 130 million project focused on transforming over 36,000 meters of roads across several neighborhoods, including Sacramento, Eliane, Iêda, Santa Izabel, and Jardim Alcântara. These works, which reached nearly 80% completion, involved installing drainage networks, paving, and sidewalks to replace dirt roads.

Parallel efforts have focused on the revitalization of the Praia das Pedrinhas waterfront. Managed by the Municipal Secretariat of Integrated Management and Special Projects, this project includes landscaping, LED lighting, new sidewalks, and the installation of sewage and water supply networks to boost tourism and community space.
