A public social media dispute has emerged between former Attica Regional Governor Giorgos Patoulis and his ex-wife, Marina Stavraki. The conflict began after Patoulis posted a video addressing rumors regarding his potential return to politics in municipalities such as Athens, Pefki, or Marousi. Stavraki responded to the video with the comment, ‘Where are you going to run, you wretch?’

Patoulis responded by stating that he and Stavraki have had no relationship since their 2021 divorce and that he would personally announce any future political decisions.

In subsequent developments, Stavraki defended her actions during a television appearance on ‘Happy Day’. She clarified that her remark was a deliberate ‘political comment’ rather than the result of a hacked account, asserting that she does not regret the choice she made.
