# Solaris fleet modernization in Poland

Polish municipalities are modernizing public transport fleets through the acquisition of Solaris electric and hybrid vehicles.

Gdańsk completed the delivery of 30 Solaris electric buses, including twelve-meter and eighteen-meter articulated models. This 110 million PLN investment, partially supported by EU subsidies, brings the city’s zero-emission vehicles to approximately one-quarter of its total fleet.

In other regions, Szczecin has contracted Solaris for 20 electric articulated buses scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2028. Meanwhile, Łódź has integrated 100 new buses into its fleet this year, consisting of 36 electric vehicles and 64 mild hybrid models, aimed at reducing the average fleet age and fuel consumption.
