Actress Song Jia has achieved a rare sweep of major Chinese television honors for her performance in ‘When the Wildflowers Bloom’. Her recognition began with winning Best Actress at the 33rd Golden Eagle Awards.

Following this, she secured the Feitian Best Actress award, completing a historic ‘Triple Queen’ milestone alongside previous wins at the Golden Eagle and White Magnolia Awards.

However, her sweep has triggered controversy within the industry. Some social media critics have labeled her a ‘Water Queen’, questioning the legitimacy of her wins by citing low viewership ratings for her winning project. This debate has contrasted with the recent struggles of actress Yang Mi, who has failed to secure major professional acting nominations at these same ceremonies.
