The SOOP Supers, a new professional women’s volleyball team formed after acquiring the AI Peppers franchise, officially launched its inaugural season in early October 2026. Led by head coach Kim Se-jin, the team focused on roster reinforcement with players such as Adriana Fitzmaurice, Yi Shue, and several domestic veterans to prepare for the V-League.

During their competitive debut at the 2026 Yeosu·NH Nonghyup Cup on October 11, the Supers lost 0-3 to IBK Industrial Bank of Korea. The match was impacted by the absence of foreign player Adriana, who was sidelined with a minor concussion. Coach Kim Se-jin indicated that the team must now focus on improving defensive systems and technical foundations following the loss.
