South American swimmers have achieved various successes in regional and international competitions held in Argentina.

In the Circuito Patagónico Austral de Natación in Río Gallegos, a delegation from Ushuaia secured fifth place in the general classification of the Torneo Hispanista. Individual successes included Zoe Vera, who won the 100-meter butterfly, and Benicio Ramos, who earned podium finishes in the 200-meter backstroke and 200-meter freestyle.

In Santa Fe, Chilean swimmer Ricardo Gutiérrez placed 24th globally in the 10-kilometer junior category at the Junior Open Water Swimming World Championship. 

During the South American Games in Santa Fe, Argentine Olympic veteran Santiago Grassi set new Argentine and South American records in the 50-meter butterfly with a time of 23.44 seconds. Grassi competed alongside fellow Argentine Ulises Cazau in the event.
