Local agricultural festivals are scheduled to take place in South Korea during mid-October. 

In Paju, the 21st Paju Kaesong Ginseng Festival is set for October 17–18 at Imjingak Plaza and the Pyeonghwa Nuri area. The event highlights premium 6-year-old ginseng and the ‘Jangdan Sambak’ trio of rice, beans, and ginseng. Programs include a cooking competition, a health marathon, and traditional herbal medicine experiences. To support the local economy, agricultural products will be sold at 15% to 20% below market rates.

In Gyeongsan, the 15th Gyeongsan Jujube Festival & Agricultural Products Fair will run from October 16–18 at the Onmaru Plaza. The festival promotes local jujubes, which represent 40% of South Korea’s total production. Activities include direct sales of fresh and dried jujubes at 20% to 30% discounts, royal cuisine-themed food zones, and cultural performances such as trot concerts and traditional Korean music.
