In September 2026, various South Korean universities held diverse campus festivals and community-focused events.

Shinhan University expanded its traditional campus festival into a city-wide event called ‘Color of Asia 2026’ in Uijeongbu. The festival featured international students from 12 countries showcasing traditional crafts, food, and clothing, alongside Asian film screenings and K-culture competitions.

In Seoul, the University of Seoul, Kyung Hee University, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies launched the third ‘2026 TROIKA·Inhyangje’ festival. This joint initiative focused on sports, academic exhibitions, and cultural performances to foster solidarity between the institutions and the local Dongdaemun-gu district.

Other institutional activities included the University of Seoul’s inaugural ‘Integrity Day,’ which utilized quizzes and pledge ceremonies to promote organizational culture. Additionally, Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies concluded its ‘2026 CUFESTA’ autumn festival, which emphasized ‘Harmony’ through in-person cultural booths and AI demonstrations for its online student body.
