Vueling’s growth is driven by a 6.8% increase in programming and its utilization of networks in Madrid and Barcelona. Conversely, Ryanair’s growth has been limited to 1.3%, a slowdown linked to disputes with airport operator Aena regarding airport fees on certain routes. 

The wider Spanish aviation sector is experiencing growth, with Iberia and Air Europa both expected to increase programming by over 8%.
