Spanish cycling news has transitioned from virtual competition results to professional road racing achievements. In early October, Sebastián Rincart and Holly Breck were named champions of the VI #OpenByStrava de Andalucía Nature virtual challenge. During this same period, the Spanish national team faced setbacks for the European Championships in Slovenia, as Paula Blasi withdrew due to injuries and Mireia Benito and Lidia Castro withdrew due to illness.

By mid-October, professional road racing saw success at the Criterium Internacional de Ciclismo in La Nucía. Enric Mas secured both the general classification and the points race, while Paula Blasi won a ‘meta contra meta’ challenge against Pedro Delgado.
