Various Spanish nautical clubs and cities are preparing for significant maritime competitions and exhibitions. 

In Vigo, the Real Club Náutico de Vigo has announced plans to host the J70 Corinthian and Vaurien World Championships in 2027, which will be the first time these events are held in Galicia. The club will also serve as the start and finish point for the Global Solo Challenge circumnavigation race.

In Valencia, the Real Club Náutico de Valencia is scheduled to host the Nacra Cup in late October 2026, featuring the debut of the Nacra 17 Olympic class with 24 international teams. Concurrently, the 17th edition of the Valencia Boat Show is set to take place at Marina Port Valencia, featuring 140 brands and 160 vessels.
