In Ceuta, CD Puerto Atlético maintains a perfect record in the División de Honor Juvenil Group V with six wins in six matches, despite a lack of pre-season training. Additionally, UA Ceutí secured a 3-2 victory against Entrerríos, moving to tenth place in their division. In the Copa del Rey, Antequera CF advanced to the second round following a 2-0 win against Águilas FC, while Agrupación Deportiva Ceuta secured a 2-1 comeback victory over UD Poblense. Other notable Copa del Rey results included victories for Athletic Club, Sevilla, Osasuna, Getafe, Deportivo de La Coruña, and Racing de Santander, while Espanyol, Córdoba, and Real Oviedo were eliminated. In LaLiga, Real Betis secured a 2-1 victory against Málaga CF in an Andalusian derby at La Cartuja. This match marked the first official Andalusian derby in eight years. Marc Bartra opened the scoring in the 38th minute following a header from an Isco Alarcón cross, while Pablo Fornals added a second in first-half stoppage time. Isco also celebrated his 400th LaLiga appearance during the match. Although Adrián Niño scored for Málaga in the 68th minute, Betis held their advantage. Manager Manuel Pellegrini noted that the scoreline did not fully reflect the team's dominance and cautioned against complacency ahead of a fixture against Borussia Dortmund. The win maintains Betis in the top four with 23 points, marking one of the club's strongest starts in the 21st century. The loss leaves Málaga CF at the bottom of the league standings with eleven matches without a victory, fueling reports of protests against club leadership, specifically targeting sporting director Loren Juarros and coach Juanfran Funes. In other action, SD Eibar and UD Almería played to a 1-1 draw. ## Claims - Málaga CF defeated Real Betis with a final score of 2-1.
