Spanish sports clubs have faced various competitive challenges. In basketball, Bàsquet Menorca struggled with roster limitations due to player absences and visa delays, resulting in early season losses. The team subsequently recorded its worst start in recent Primera FEB history, remaining the only club in the league without a victory after five matchdays.

In football, Real Mallorca experienced a setback following a draw against Leganés, which caused the club to drop from the top six to seventh place in the league standings.
