Speedo has launched Speedo iQ, a sensor-equipped tracking system designed for swimming performance analysis. The system utilizes a removable, miniature sensor module that attaches to the brand’s Vanquisher goggles, allowing for more precise tracking of head position, breathing angles, and timing compared to wrist-based wearables.

The technology supports all four major competitive strokes—front crawl, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke—and records metrics such as distance, pace, stroke count, and turn timing. Data is synchronized via Bluetooth to a mobile application after training sessions to provide detailed insights and recommended exercises. 

Notably, the system does not feature screen technology in the lenses to prevent distraction and is World Aquatics approved for competitive use. The hardware does not require a subscription service.
