In the Liga BPI women’s football competition, Sporting CP recorded its first setback of the season following a 0-0 draw against SC Braga.

Despite Sporting creating more opportunities and having a goal by Leah Lewis disallowed for offside, neither side could find the back of the net. Ahead of the match, Sporting coach Micael Sequeira emphasized the importance of regaining confidence following a recent loss in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
