The Formosa Olympic Pool marked its first anniversary with a regional swimming competition organized by the Asociación Formoseña de Deportes Acuáticos. The event featured participants from Formosa, Paraguay, Chaco, Corrientes, and Santa Fe across several categories, including School, Promotional, and Masters.

Since its inauguration on September 30, 2025, the facility has seen an increase in registered swimmers from 160 to 600. Shortly thereafter, Formosa hosted the 38th National Interloterías Olympics. Organized by the Instituto de Asistencia Social (IAS), this three-day event brought together 187 athletes from 11 provinces, marking the first time the competition has been held in the region in 12 years.
