Various regions across New South Wales are hosting diverse activities for children and teenagers during the spring school holidays.

In Moree, the PCYC is running a program for children aged five to 12 featuring daily activities such as basketball and arts and crafts. The New England region is offering community events, including a free 3x3 basketball day in Inverell and a youth program in Glen Innes involving circus skills and skate park activities. In Sydney, the NSW Government has coordinated free events in public spaces, including street performance festivals, science workshops, and petting zoos.

In the Shoalhaven region, libraries in Nowra, Sanctuary Point, and Ulladulla are providing creative workshops such as claymation and mural making. Other local activities include wildlife presentations and space-themed adventures. These programs serve as alternatives to the rising costs of holiday care, which can reach approximately $95 per day for working families.
