Square Enix has announced several upcoming projects for the Kingdom Hearts franchise. In mid-September 2026, the company revealed that Kingdom Hearts IV is scheduled for a late 2027 release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the successor to the Nintendo Switch.
