Napoli's recent performance in Serie A has drawn mixed analytical focus. Following a 3-3 draw against Roma, journalist Paolo Del Genio praised the team's offensive approach under Massimiliano Allegri but described their league position as “dramatic.” Del Genio noted that the gap between Napoli and the top four teams has widened, requiring an extraordinary winning streak to recover.

Subsequent analysis following a victory over Monza highlighted individual player contributions. Kevin De Bruyne was identified as the team's strongest player after scoring a hat-trick. Other discussions centered on tactical adjustments in the midfield due to Lobotka's injury, with Gilmour, Noa Lang, and Luca Marianucci receiving praise for their roles in playmaking and defensive solidity.
