The Government of St Vincent has approved 2,466 tuition scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year through the National Tuition Scholarship Program. Prime Minister Dr. Godwin Friday announced the cohort during a parliamentary sitting, noting that the number of recipients represents a slight decrease from the previous year’s 2,566. 

Prime Minister Friday stated that all applicants meeting basic criteria were approved. He noted that exact funding figures will be determined following the submission of official estimates from the personnel department, emphasizing a commitment to administrative accuracy. Under the current framework, individual tuition scholarships are subject to a maximum cap of $25,000 Eastern Caribbean Dollars (EC$).
